Dr. Rebecca Watt

Rebecca completed her medical training in Western Australia in 2009 before relocating to Victoria in 2011. She completed her residency terms at Royal Melbourne Hospital and did extra Emergency Department locum work in Wangaratta and Albury/Wodonga. Rebecca then trained as a General Practitioner and was awarded GP Registrar of the Year.
Rebecca has a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and has also pursued further Paediatric education obtaining a Diploma of Child Health and training with Dr Pamela Douglas through Possums with specific interests and expertise in neonatal neuro-developmental care, management of unsettled infants and sleep problems and gestalt breastfeeding support.
Rebecca’s other areas of interest are: preventative health, women’s health (fertility and menstrual cycle control), acute trauma (plastering/suturing) and travel medicine. Rebecca can insert and remove intrauterine devices (copper IUD, Kyleena and Mirena IUD) and Implanon contraceptives.
