Staff Profiles

Dr. Kate Tran-Nguyen, originally from the UK, attained her medical degree at the University of Sheffield in 2011. She completed her residency in South Yorkshire and regional Queensland, before returning to the UK to undertake the General Practice program in Oxford.

Kate is passionate about various aspects of general practice including paediatrics, chronic disease management and lifestyle medicine, with a special interest in women’s health, sexual health and family planning. She completed a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2017 and is experienced in the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (Kyleena and Mirena IUS) and Implanon contraceptives.

In 2022, Kate and her husband relocated to the Mornington Peninsula with their two young children. Outside of work, Kate enjoys an active lifestyle through yoga, pilates, running and exploring the outdoors with her family and friends.
