Dr Harry Brown joins Surrey Street Family Clinic with a passion for all aspects of General Practice. He has particular interest in preventative health and chronic disease management, paediatrics, dermatology, as well as sexual and LGBTIQ+ health.
Dr Harry grew up in Mallacoota, a small coastal Victorian town, before moving to Melbourne to complete his undergraduate medical degree at Monash University. He has worked primarily in Melbourne’s South-East at Monash Health where he completed work in a variety of clinical settings, including terms in Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery, Dermatology as well as core rotations in General Medicine, General Surgery and Emergency.
In addition to experience in the hospital, Harry is undertaking a Masters of Medicine in Sexual Health and is registered as an s100 prescriber for patients living with HIV.
In his personal life, Harry is keen on fitness, travelling and enjoys tending to his jungle of indoor plants as well as spending time with his two Italian Greyhounds, “Alfonzo” and “Vincenzo”.
