Dr. Amanda Hammond
MBBS – GP Registrar
Dr Amanda Hammond graduated from Monash University in 2014 after which she worked at both Frankston, Rosebud and Wonthaggi Hospitals, completing rotations in paediatrics, rehabilitation, critical care and emergency medicine.
Amanda’s particular interests lie in children’s and women’s health and preventative medicine. She has spent her general practice training to date working down in Rye and Blairgowrie on the Nepean Peninsula.
Amanda was born and bred on the Mornington Peninsula and is now settled in the same area with her husband, a local physiotherapist. Much of their spare time is spent with their pets, Echo and Blue, and their friends and family. Amanda also enjoys travelling and fitness, most recently hiking in Yosemite National Park while travelling to Mexico for a family wedding. Above all things, Amanda enjoys a good cheese platter!
