Dr. Rebecca Watt

Rebecca completed her medical training in Western Australia in 2009 before relocating to Victoria in 2011. She completed her residency terms at Royal Melbourne Hospital and did extra Emergency Department locum work in Wangaratta and Albury/Wodonga. Rebecca then trained as a General Practitioner and was awarded GP Registrar of the Year.
Rebecca is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Vulvovaginal Society and the Australian Menopause Society. She has an interest in menstrual disorders and dermatology with a particular interest and extra expertise in vulval dermatology. She has also pursued further Paediatric education obtaining a Diploma of Child Health and training with Dr Pamela Douglas through Possums with specific interests and expertise in neonatal neuro-developmental care, management of unsettled infants and sleep problems and gestalt breastfeeding support.
Rebecca’s other areas of interest are: preventative health, acute trauma (plastering/suturing), travel medicine and skin cancer (Diploma of skin cancer medicine). Rebecca can insert and remove intrauterine devices (copper IUD, Kyleena and Mirena IUD) and Implanon contraceptives.
Rebecca and her family relocated to the Mornington Peninsula in December 2020 and love exploring the local region. Her favourite weekend activity is wandering the local Mornington/Red Hill markets or beach walks with her children searching for sea glass. She is thrilled to be consulting from Surrey Street Family Clinic and looks forward to getting to know you and your family.
